Michael Copper Collection

Michael Cooper is the legendary photographer, whose close personal relationship with members of The Rolling Stones allowed him unprecedented access to the band and the opportunity to capture the first ten years of the bands career in the swinging sixties of London. He is responsible for shooting the iconic front cover photos for both the Beatles Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band & Their Satanic Majesties Request by The Rolling Stones.

Adam Cooper, who is Michael's son, and A Buenos Aires resident, inherited his vast collection of negatives and has made it his mission
to share these photographs with us through exhibitions and books; most notably the now unavailable "Blinds and Shutters" and the more recent " Early Stones" (available in English and Spanish). Please allow me to introduce myself my name is Adam Cooper and I am the son of late famous 1960's photographer Michael Cooper.
